Olympics helps economy growth

Finally, after nine months - we are out of recession.

Figures show the economy grew by one per cent - better than expected and it's the biggest in five years, and for firms in the Midlands, it is thanks - in part - to the Olympics.

Firms won more business on the back of Olympic contracts and manufacturers now say they're more optimistic about the future.

But they want the government to support them more by keeping work in Britain.
