A six-year-old boy is out of an induced coma at Nottingham's Queens's Medical Centre after falling 35 feet from the top of an escalator onto the floor below.

Ryan's Dad said: "He's responding really well. He's squeezing my hand and grinned when I told him I'd take him to McDonalds and his first Forest game. Everything looks good."
