Campaign to stamp out mental health stigma
A campaign to stamp out the stigma associated with mental health in young people in the West Midlands has been launched today.
The campaign is called Stand up Kid and is being launched alongside new research that shows 1 in 4 young people in the West Midlands would want to stop spending time with a friend if they had depression.
Time to Change, is England's leading national anti-stigma programme, its new campaign features a film which it is hoped will change attitudes towards young people suffering from conditions such as depression.
