Confusion over Richard III's remains, full report

There's fresh confusion tonight over whether human remains thought to be those of Richard III will stay where they were found in Leicester. A Government minister today appeared to be at odds with her own department over where the skeleton should be re-buried.

At least three rival towns and cities are laying claim to the remains, should they turn out to be the King. As Peter Bearne reports, the archaeological dig in Leicester has not only unearthed an exciting find, but opened a whole can of worms


Judicial review for Richard III's final resting place

A group of relatives of King Richard III, whose body was unearthed from a council car park last year, have won the right to bring High Court proceedings to challenge a plan to rebury his remains in Leicester.
