More arrests over power station protests

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass this morning.

They were arrested by police after climbing down from a chimney at West Burton power station.

Police say ten people are still 300ft up one of the chimneys where they have been protesting.

On Monday a group of around 30 people gained access to the power station in Nottinghamshire and climbed 300ft tall chimneys to protest against the use of fossil fuels.
