Wolverhampton man wins lifetime achievement award for contribution to world foods

An entrepreneur from Wolverhampton has won a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to world foods.

Tony Deep Wouhra was presented with the award at a ceremony hosted by Lenny Henry in London last night.

He arrived in England aged 18 and founded his own organic food company. He also raises awareness of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

The Awards, now in their fourth year were created by the World Foods Association and recognise not only the incredible growth within the ethnic and world food sector, but also the diversity of cultures and communities that the industry is inspired by.
