There's been a major development at a village primary school in Nottinghamshire which is under investigation by the county council.
Central Tonight has learned that the headteacher of Burton Joyce Primary, Margaret Gretton, has been suspended while the local authority inquiries continue.
Governors took the decision at a special meeting this evening.
It comes 24 hours after a Central Tonight special investigation into allegations over the running of the school. There will be a formal announcement tomorrow morning.
