A fire which started eight weeks ago at a recycling plant in Derbyshire has finally been put out.

The fire's been burning at the site in Stanton-by-Dale since around 8,000 tonnes of material was set alight on 15th September.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Fish allowed back into Canal

A fire which has been burning for 60 days is finally out. It hasn't polluted the Erewash Canal and so fish are now allowed back into that stretch of water.
