Man bailed following taxi driver assault
A man has been bailed in connection with an assault on a taxi driver.
The 44-year-old was taken to hospital with a serious head injury following the attack on Bristol Road South, Birmingham, in the early hours of Saturday.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and was later bailed pending further inquiries.
The victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
