Man named after unexplained death in Wolverhampton

A man who collapsed and died in Wolverhampton city centre last weekend has been named.

Gareth Jones, who is 31 and from Wolverhampton, was with friends in Queens Square at around 1am on Sunday (18th November) when he fell to the ground.

Paramedics that attended the scene were unable to save him.

Gareth’s death is currently being treated as unexplained; a post mortem examination into the cause of his death has proved inconclusive.

Police are currently investigating the death and are appealing to anyone who saw the man before he collapsed or saw him earlier in Club Babylon.
