Leicester City and Leicester Tigers will both hold home matches today and police say as many as 44,000 people are expected to attend.

Tigers v Bath kicks off at 12.30pm, while Leicester City v Derby County is due to kick off at 5.20pm.

There is expected to be higher than usual traffic flows between 2.15pm and 5.15pm, when people will be leaving and arriving in the city, some parking spaces near the sports venues will be difficult to find, particularly for the fans attending the football with the later kick-off time.

Additionally, as it is the first Saturday in December, local authorities are expecting a large number of Christmas shoppers.
