Man arrested in America over Malakai McKenzie shooting
A man has been arrested in America in connection with the murder of Malakai McKenzie.
Mr McKenzie was shot outside The Hubb public house, Sherwood, at around 3:30pm on Saturday 21st April earlier this year.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at JFK Airport in New York yesterday and is now awaiting extradition to the UK.
Four men have been charged with the murder of Mr McKenzie - Cameron Cashin, 20, Ijah Lavelle-Moore, 20, Malcolm Vaughan Francis, 18, and Donte Grant, 18.
They are next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 22nd February 2013 when a trial date is expected to be fixed.
