Man charged after alleged racist insults at football match

A man has been charged after alleged racist insults were shouted at two players during a match between Derby County and Birmingham City.

Police were contacted by a fan who heard racist comments being made to players by another member of the crowd at the match at Pride Park on Saturday 24th November.

A 34-year-old man from Allenton has been charged with two racially-aggravated public order offences.

He's due before magistrates later this month.
