Union leaders want to hold urgent talks with Jaguar Land Rover to get reassurance about the future of jobs in the West Midlands.

It comes after the news, earlier this week, that the car producer could be building a parts manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey said that he wants a meeting with Tata, the Indian owners of Jaguar Land Rover, to get the assurances they made threes years ago, reaffirmed.

JLR say that the factory in Saudi Arabia will be complimentary to their UK operations.
