A man walking his dog in Staffordshire has been killed in a suspected hit and run.
The man was on the pavement in the village of Streethay near Lichfield at about 7.40am when he was hit by a car.
The small light-coloured car, believed to be a Rover, did not stop and carried on towards Lichfield. The dog was also killed.
West Midlands Police are appealing for information.
