The owners of Nottingham Forest Football Club have announced that manager Sean O'Driscoll has "parted ways" with the company. Alex McLeish has been appointed as new manager.

Alex McLeish to take over from Sean O'Driscoll

Alex McLeish, former boss of Birmingham and Aston Villa, will take over at the City Ground later today. He will be in charge for Saturday's key npower Championship match against Crystal Palace.

Former Manager Sean O'Driscoll dramatically left the club on Boxing Day - sacked after seeing Forest to a 4-2 home win over Leeds and with the club a point outside the Championship playoff zone.
