Serbian Christmas celebrated in Derby
Today is Christmas day for the Serbian Orthadox Church. Derby, like many Midlands cities, has a significant Serbian Orthadox community and families in the city bought their church from the Church of England for £8,500 in 1972.
For the last 12 months they have been restoring the inside of the building after many years of fundraising. Today they will be holding a Christmas service and celebrating the end of the restoration work.
