Crime in Leicestershire down 10% in Olympic year
Leicestershire Police have recorded the lowest crime figures in 2012 for 20 years, despite commitments to security operations in London during the Games, and at Loughborough University where Team GB were based. The Force also provided security when the Queen visited Leicester.
