East Midlands rail investment
Network Rail has announced millions of pounds of investment to electrify the rail line from London to the East Midlands.
George Cowcher from the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce says the best infrastructure possible, which is fast and green, is important to compete with businesses along the West Coast Main Line and will make the Midlands seem like a natural extension of the prosperous South East.
