The Education Secretary Michael Gove has defended his decision to take over a secondary school in Derby because of concerns about standards.
Mr Gove was giving his first interview about Sinfin Community School since installing a special board to look at turning it into an academy.
Teachers at the school have gone on strike in protest - a move Mr Gove today described as "union antics".
