Man jailed for Shrewsbury murder

A man's been jailed for life for murdering a man when two groups squared up at a recreation ground in Shrewsbury to settle their differences.

23-year-old Scott Cooke died from stab wounds.

Today Peter Clinton was convicted of his murder and jailed for life with a minimum of 20-years. Damen McDonough was convicted of manslaughter and given a 10-year sentence. A third man Aaron Doran was found not guilty of murder.
