Plans unveiled for rail improvements: West Midlands
Network Rail has revealed plans for improvements to the network across the Midlands. Over five years, starting from next year, it will invest hundreds of millions of pounds.
The company says it will greatly improve the service but commuters can look forward to years of above inflation fare rises to pay for it.
