Scott Cooke stabbing: Two men sentenced

A man has been jailed for life for stabbing another man to death in Shropshire, after two gangs squared up to each other at a recreation ground to settle their differences.

Scott Cooke, who was 23, died from stab wounds in Shrewsbury in December 2011. Peter Clinton who is 25, was convicted of murder at Birmingham Crown Court and was ordered to serve at least 20 years.

Damen McDonough who is 24 was found not guilty of murder but was given a ten-year jail term for manslaughter. A third man was found not guilty of murder.
