The University of Leicester has announced that it plans to reveal the results of a series of scientific investigations into human remains, which are suspected to be those of King Richard III, in the first week of February.

Leicester University, Leicester City Council and the Richard III society are leading the search.

A group of relatives of King Richard III, whose body was unearthed from a council car park last year, have won the right to bring High Court proceedings to challenge a plan to rebury his remains in Leicester.
