A man has been arrested after two men were stabbed to death in Birmingham city centre tonight. The men, who are believed to be in their 40s, were stabbed just before 6pm on Friday.

Two men have died following a double-stabbing in Birmingham city centre tonight.
Police flooded the area around Martineau Place and Union Street just before 6.00pm.
One of the victims is believed to have been stabbed outside Martineau Place's Sainsbury's store and the other was found 'slumped' near Boots in Union Street having suffered fatal injuries.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene despite officers giving first aid to both men who are believed to be in their 40s.
One man has been arrested in New Street in connection with the stabbings near to the Odeon cinema minutes later.
Areas of the city centre remain cordoned off.
"Two men have suffered fatal injuries – these have been inflicted in the heart of the city at a busy time when workers and shoppers would be heading home.
“There are potentially hundreds of witnesses, either people who saw the stabbings or the offender leaving the scene, and I’d urge people to get in touch immediately – they could have vital information.
"A large police presence was quickly on the scene and a man was arrested swiftly.”
Mary Ragoobeer and her sons, Shane and Sean, were killed in the blast in Leicester on February 25.
