Birmingham car auction sells rock star's Rolls Royce

A Rolls Royce that belonged to the frontman of Queen, Freddie Mercury, has been sold today at a car auction in Birmingham.

The car, which was used by Freddie until his death in 1991, fetched £74,000 at the Autosport International Show that was held at the NEC this weekend.

Also up for grabs was Del Boy's Ford Capri, which featured in the BBC hit comedy Only Fools and Horses.

Despite the fake tiger interior, the car failed to find a buyer.
