The number of cases of HIV in Northampton are almost double the national average. Healthcare bosses are being urged to rethink that policy.
But Northampton Healthcare NHS Trust says despite those figures applying to Northampton itself cases of HIV in the county as a whole stand at 1.6%, below the 2% threshold at which mandatory testing is recommended by t the Health Protection Agency.

A Red Arrows jet has crashed after an incident at RAF Valley in north Wales, the Ministry of Defence has said.
A Red Arrows aircraft has crashed at RAF Valley, it is understood there were two people on board the jet.
