East Midlands Airport reopens
East Midlands Airport has re-opened after heavy snow caused the runway to be closed for hours.
A spokesperson for the Airport said:
"All flights have resumed the normal program from this afternoon. Any delayed flights, for which people are waiting, they will be slotted in between scheduled flights today."
Passengers who are concerned about their travel plans over the next few days are advised to check live flight information or contact their airline or tour operator for the latest up to date information on their flight.
