Man charged after prison guards assaulted
A man has been charged with five counts of assault after five prison guards were attacked at HMP Birmingham in November.
The 52-year-old is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wednesday 23 January).
An investigation was launched after an employee was injured at the prison on Sunday 4 November and a further four employees were injured on Wednesday 7 November.
