JCB wins £3 million contract from construction leader

Staffordshire based JCB have announced it has won a £3 million contract to provide a fleet of new machines to construction supplier Travis Perkins.

The latest contract marks the purchase of the 1,500th JCB machine by the Travis Perkins Group over the last 15 years.

Commenting on the machine contract, which will be supplied by a Leicester-based JCB dealer, JCB’s UK & Ireland Sales Director Dan Thompstone said:

“We are proud to have sold our 1,500th JCB machine to Travis Perkins. JCB is the market leader for sales of mini excavators in the UK and it’s a huge vote of confidence in the quality of JCB products that such an established and well-respected company as Travis Perkins continues to invest in JCB micro and mini excavators in such huge numbers.”
