A man from Staffordshire who almost lost his life in a car crash has been told he will not receive the operation he needs to help him walk again because it is 'not yet currently routinely commissioned for the patients of South Staffordshire'.
South Staffordshire PCT issued the following statement:
This treatment is not currently routinely commissioned for the patients of South Staffordshire. However other treatments are commissioned.
