Surge in winter A&E admissions
The Royal Derby Hospital says it's coping with the cold snap despite a surge in admissions to the Accident and Emergency department.
Staff are currently treating around 420 patients a day - a hundred more than normal.
Many of the visits are for broken bones and other injuries caused by slipping on the ice.
