The leader of Leicestershire County Council says 6000 jobs could be at risk from the planned HS2 rail link through the East Midlands.
Nick Rushton says the route through the county to Leeds would go straight through a proposed rail depot site where the jobs would be based. The Prime Minister is expected to announce details of the route on Monday.
