It's expected that a court will today decide the compensation payout to the family of a man who died after a routine clinical trial.
43-year old Luigi Belcuore from Studley, Warwickshire, was being treated at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry almost two years ago.
He was involved in a clinical trial to correct a problem with his right knee. The hearing will take place today at the High Court in Birmingham.
The hospital has admitted liability.
