Staffordshire Hoard: Heart-shaped token found
Two delicate gold lovebirds have been locked in a heart-shaped embrace for more than a thousand years.
They were crafted by Anglo-Saxon goldsmiths back in the seventh century.
Experts working on the Staffordshire Hoard have only just managed to identify them after painstakingly removing dried mud.
