Forensic officers investigate the 'suspicious' death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent
A forensic investigation is taking place at a house in Stoke-on-Trent where a man was found dead yesterday morning (Friday 15 February).
Police were called to the house in Matthews Walk, Hanley, at around 9am. The death of 47-year old Simon Hammond is being treated as suspicious.
Chief Inspector Jeff Moore, Local Policing Team Commander for Stoke-on-Trent Central, said: “We are appealing for anyone who knew Mr Hammond and saw him recently to contact us."
