Stoke-on-Trent death now 'unexplained'
Police investigating the death of 47-year-old Simon Hammond in Stoke-on-Trent are now treating the death as unexplained.
They started a murder inquiry after Mr Hammond's body was found in his flat on Matthews walk int he Hanley area of the city.
A post-mortem examination has found he died form head injuries.
The area around the apartment block will stay cordoned off while forensic searches continue.
