Football fun day for blind youngsters in Leicester

Blind and partially sighted youngsters who took part in a football fun day have been brushing up on their football skills with help from two Leicester sporting legends.

The two stars, Alan Birchenall and Rendell Munroe, were guests of honour at a football fun day in the city.

They wore a blindfold for part of the training session to try and grasp playing football without vision.

Former boxer, Rendell Munroe has just been made an official ambassador for VISTA – a Leicester-based charity that helps bind and partially sighted people.
