Mother and partner to be be sentenced over death of toddler
A mother and her partner are due to be sentenced later, after being convicted for the manslaughter of a toddler.
Two-year-old Riley Pettipierre, from Belper in Derbyshire, died after drinking the drug methadone. Sally-Anne Dent and Shaun Binfield were found guilty of causing his death in January 2013.
The sentencing is taking place at Nottingham Crown Court.
