Mortuary manager gives evidence in Philpott trial

The mortuary manager at the Royal Derby Hospital, Marie Smith, tells a jury that when she offered Mick Philpott a glass of water when he had come to see his six dead children, he asked if some 'Gin' could be put in it.

Ms Smith said that on another occasion Mr Philpott came to the mortuary with around a dozen other people. She said there also seemed to be alot of 'horse-play' going on. And that at one point Mick Philpott had a police family liaison officer in a 'headlock'.
