PC Croxall gives evidence in Philpott trial
PC Deborah Croxall tells a jury that she provided Mick Philpott with a blanket outside the Royal Derby Hospital as he was 'shivering'.PC Croxall told the court that the scene at the hospital was 'mayhem'.
She later drove Mick Philpott, his wife Mairead, and Mairead's mother Vera Duffy to Birmingham Children's hospital.
Under cross-examination PC Croxall also told the jury that while she was in the hospital's intensive care unit in Birmingham Mairead Philpott was looking at photos of her children on her mobile phone.
