Protesters outside Council House in Birmingham
Protesters have gathered outside the Council House in Birmingham to protest against the public spending cuts being pushed through today at the Council's anual budget meeting.
Over 100 people are expected to attend to 'blockade' the entrances to the building.
At the meeting today, £625m worth of cuts to welfare and public services are expected to be pushed through. Those cuts will then be rolled out by 2016/2017.
There will also be a protest and rally at 5pm.
