It has been revealed that the renovation of a stately home in Staffordshire has been put on hold because of a lack of money.
Plans to turn Trentham Hall in Stoke-on-Trent into a hotel have been delayed for at least two years. The Grade II listed building is on the English Heritage at risk register. Developers spent millions landscaping the surrounding gardens but can't afford the extra £35 million to renovate the Hall.
