Crime Scene Investigator starts evidence

Alice Stuart, Crime Scene Investigator with Derbyshire Police begins to give evidence.

The court hears that on May 12th last year at 7:25, Miss Stuart took photographs of the property and seized a number of items including a door mat, debris from both inside and outside the front door, part of the inner letter box and a fire extinguisher from the street outside the house.

Miss Stuart returned the following day and seized the casement window from the front room.

A pick axe in the rear garden and a broken tennis racket found on a conservatory roof, were also taken away for examination.

Mairead Philpott appeal
