A large historic town wall that collapsed in Shropshire could cost more than £1million to repair.
Local residents were forced to leave their homes when the 800 year old structure fell down in February. Nobody was injured.
Some of the properties in Ludlow are rented out as holiday homes and were empty at the time.
Shropshire Council said its engineers were still assessing the wall as to what interim maintenance work could be done.
Experts say last years wet weather and frost were to blame.
