Naked calendar organiser: 'we only expected to raise £5k'

The organiser of a naked calendar, which has gained international recognition, says the girls didn't expect to raise the amount they did.

‘Game Birds Calendar 2013’ was shot and sold in memory of 21-year-old Richard Warr, who died tragically in 2011, despite the efforts of the Midlands Air Ambulance.

We only expected to raise £5,000 when we decided to do the calendar to thank Midlands Air Ambulance for their outstanding efforts to save Rich and so many others, but the response was phenomenal. We are just so pleased.

– Zoe Hooper, Organiser

The girls gained international coverage for their efforts when it caught the attention of publications worldwide.
