Missing Nottinghamshire Police Sergeant Colin Evans, has been found safe in Redditch, in the West Midlands.
The 51-year-old from Mansfield, who failed to return home after work on Monday (March 11), is currently in the care of West Mercia Police.
Officers and staff have been searching for Sergeant Evans since he was reported missing by his wife around 11am yesterday.
Up to 60 officers – many who were off-duty – helped in the search. The force helicopter was also deployed.
