An inquest is due to open today into the death of 16-year-old Christina Edkins, who was killed on her way to school in Birmingham a week ago.
She was stabbed on a bus in the City Centre during rush hour near Five Ways.
Twenty-two-year-old Phillip Simelane, from Walsall, is being held in a secure unit on suspicion of murder, and is due to be charged.
