87 released after football clashes

More than 80 people arrested in the build-up to a non-league football match have been released on bail. The arrests were in connection with an incident of "violent disorder" ahead of a fixture between home side Nuneaton Town and Lincoln City.

Eyewitness: 'Met by sea of yellow as police were everywhere'

An eyewitness to the violent disorder that started in a Nuneaton pub yesterday has called the experience frightening.

Sandra Cooper witnessed the disorder which led to 87 people being arrested prior to a football match between home-side Nuneaton Town and Lincoln City.

Those arrested have been bailed as police study CCTV as they continue their investigation.
