CCTV released of burglars breaking into Wolverhampton home

West Midlands Police has released CCTV footage of three burglars who broke into a house in Wolverhampton.

The group can be seen taking over five minutes to force entry to a side door of the property in Tettenhall’s Redhouse Road between 1:30pm and 2pm on February 28.

One of the suspects is then seen to get stuck and fall over as he attempts to climb through the window.

A safe was stolen during the burglary which contained jewellery.

The offenders fled in a blue or grey Audi estate, which is believed to have sped off towards Wrottesley Road.

Officers are linking the vehicle to an attempted break-in on Pope Road in The Scotlands earlier in the day.
